Android shows these screens for every app installed outside the Play Store. They are normal, and CXTIME is signed by Airtime Asia Limited. The wording can differ slightly between phone brands.

    Tap the download button on this page (on a computer, point your phone's camera at the code beside it first). Chrome warns that this type of file can harm your device.

    Allow installs from your browser, once

    Open the downloaded file. Android says your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source. Tap Settings, switch the permission on, then go back.

    Confirm the install

    Android shows the CXTIME name and icon and asks: Do you want to install this app?

Every release carries the CXTIME signing certificate (v2 and v3 signature schemes). Android checks it at install time.

The app pins the certificate of app.cx.airtimelab.com and refuses any other server. Your session is stored in the phone's secure keystore, never in plain files.

Camera, microphone and photos for messages, and notifications. No location, and no permission to draw over other apps.

Works for hotels with the Restaurant POS add-on switched on. Ask your CXTIME contact to set it up, then enter your restaurant code (for example, regal) in the app. Installs the same way as CXTIME, with the five screens shown above.

    Take orders at the table and send them straight to the kitchen. Each phone is paired once, then staff sign in with their own PIN.

  • Kitchen display

    Orders arrive on a tablet that stays in landscape and never sleeps, with a chime for every new ticket.

  • Cash desk

    Print bills and kitchen tickets from the Android print dialog, and charge a bill to the guest's room.
